1. What are the requirements of ISO 9001:2015?

Requirements relating to the performance of operational activities are detailed in chapter 8 of the standard which, compared with previous versions of the standard, retains the historical requirements for quality control and quality assurance in production, with a few reorganizations and nuances added.

First of all, the chapter always deals with :

  • planning (chapter 8.1) to ensure process control. The focus is on determining and controlling criteria to ensure product and service conformity. This chapter makes the link with the process approach (§ 4.4), the actions taken in response to risks and opportunities (§ 6.1), the control of modifications (§ 6.3), and the control of outsourced processes (§ 8.4);
