4.1 Leading suppliers of certified reference materials
A number of national and international organizations offer over 10,000 certified reference materials (CRMs) in a wide variety of fields.
As an example, table 13 lists the organizations whose CRMs can be purchased either directly from them, or through specialized resellers.
These products must always be accompanied by a certificate, which can be used to trace measurements made by a test laboratory.
