3.1 Persistence of SARS-CoV-2 on different surfaces under experimental conditions
There have been no specific studies on the persistence of SARS-CoV-2 in waste. However, experimental studies have shown the kinetics of spontaneous inactivation of this virus on several types of surface, under controlled laboratory conditions, following cell culture to measure infectivity (table 1 ).
