A corporate weakness, observed well beyond the circle of ISO 9001-certified companies, lies in the difficulty encountered by each organization in maintaining knowledge within its ranks, and avoiding its loss or dilution as the workforce changes.

Training resources, then training them again, does not include knowledge retention, and represents a risk of losing important information and knowledge.
