5. How do you know if you're ready?

There are a number of ways in which the laboratory can ensure that it is ready to "pass" the assessment.

5.1 Internal audit or blank audit

This audit also meets the requirements of ISO/CEI 17025. In this case, an internal audit must be carried out by a person qualified in this standard and experienced in the accreditation process. This internal auditor may be a laboratory staff member or an external auditor (consultant, cross-internal audit circle, auditor from a partner laboratory, etc.).
