1.1 Excitation signal and response

Chronopotentiometry has developed considerably since electronics and computer technology have made it possible to obtain a variety of excitation signals with ease, and to analyze their responses in detail. Table 1 lists the most commonly used excitation signals and their corresponding chronopotentiograms.
