It's a well-documented technique, with numerous publications from manufacturers, universities and organizations available on the Internet. Performance verification is easy, with certified methods and reference materials. Implementation is fairly straightforward – except for sample preparation in certain cases! – and does not require any special utilities. The purchase price of spectrophotometers is reasonable, as are their operating costs....
