2.1 Procedure for determining voltammograms
The purpose of drawing current-potential curves is to study the relationship between the intensity of the current flowing through the electrode and its potential. Except in the special cases of thin film, modified electrodes and carbon paste electrodes, which are discussed below, solute concentration is a factor that must not be varied when determining the experimental curve. The quantities of material electrolyzed must be negligible compared to the quantities present in solution.
