 INTRODUCTION

Compagnie des transports strasbourgeois CTS has opted for the ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) network to operate tramway line B.

This is the first implementation of an ATM network, previously reserved for telecommunications, for urban transport in France, with the integration of all operating services.

The principle behind this ground-to-ground transmission network is to transmit information over three networks, which we will examine in the following article. .
