4. Conclusion

There's no denying that parallel robots are, and will remain, less widespread than the serial robots that came before them. However, they are better suited to certain applications, in particular for their high dynamics, precision or high load capacity. Unlike series robots, which have been around for longer, the vast field of possible kinematics has yet to be fully explored. The designer must therefore not neglect the phase of studying all types of singularities.

From the end-user's point of view, the robot's kinematics are of little importance, as long as reliability and performance meet his specifications. The integration of a parallel robot is no more complex than that of a serial robot.
