1. Functions performed

The temperature sensor is at the heart of the measurement process. Many industrial processes involve temperature: heating, cooking, heat treatment, melting, etc. The processes used to control and regulate temperature form a complete assembly, the thermal measurement chain. The temperature sensor is the sensitive element in the measurement chain. Subjected to severe and repeated stress, it must be perfectly adapted to the application, in order to fulfill the functions expected of it.

  • Defining your needs

    This obviously requires knowledge of the temperature range to be maintained by the sensor and the process set-point temperature, as well as the measurement conditions: nature of the medium to be measured, initial temperature, physical and mechanical constraints. But at least three parameters require special consideration....
