Voltage calibrator

Programmable voltage generator primarily intended for calibration purposes.

Galvanometer

a measuring instrument used to detect and measure very small electric currents.

Active guard

A device designed to reduce leakage currents by applying a controlled voltage to the shielding.

Metrological traceability

The property of a measurement result whereby that result can be traced back to a reference through an unbroken and documented chain of calibrations, each of which contributes to the measurement uncertainty.
