6. Outsourcing of maintenance and metrology functions
6.1 Preamble
These functions can be outsourced either to the manufacturer, or to specialized companies (after an audit, some manufacturers entrust specialized companies with part of their maintenance, or even ask them to cover the warranty period).
When the user decides to subcontract these functions, he must ensure that the chosen subcontractor meets the quality criteria expressed in the standards or regulations in force.
