3. A3D industrial emergence

In 2013, NASA launched its "Advanced Food Program" with one objective in mind: how can a team of astronauts, with freeze-dried food, be better nourished on long missions? Even if the examples communicated revolve around 3D pizzas, this niche is understandable, but does not represent a major market. With proofs of concept, it is not possible today to express an opinion on the future of A3D, but niche markets could emerge along the lines of what was achieved a few years ago for molecular cuisine. This paragraph considers several avenues.
