4. Conclusion

There are several points to be made about the complementarities and specific features of HACCP and traceability systems. First of all, they are company-specific systems that need to be thought through and implemented internally to ensure proper management of food safety. But they are also systems imposed by European regulations as tools for analyzing, controlling and guaranteeing foodstuffs placed on the market.
