How long do I have to comment on the environmental inspector's report?
The law does not set a time limit within which you may exercise your right to comment. However, it is advisable to react quickly. If you fail to do so, you run the risk of the prefect notifying you of an order (additional requirements, formal notice) without taking into account the explanations and commitments you wish to make.
Do I need a lawyer to contest an inspection report?
The presence of a lawyer is not mandatory:
when you submit observations to the prefect;
when you lodge an appeal with the Prefect;
when you lodge a contentious appeal with the administrative court.
