3. Single authorization experiment

On an experimental basis, and for a period of three years, projects for electricity production facilities using mechanical wind energy, methanization facilities and biogas-based electricity or biomethane production facilities subject to ICPE authorization under the Environment Code are subject to a single authorization in the Basse-Normandie, Bretagne, Champagne-Ardenne, Franche-Comté, Midi-Pyrénées, Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardie regions.

This single authorization is valid for :

• ICPE authorization (under article L. 512-1 of the Environment Code) ;

• and building permits (under article L. 421-1 of the French urban planning code) ;

• clearing authorization (under articles L. 214-13 and L. 341-3 of the Forestry Code) ;
