6. Conclusion

The main aim of drilling and sampling campaigns is to characterize and quantify the chemical impact of an industrial site on soil and groundwater. This article shows the importance of the technical know-how acquired in this field. It emphasizes the importance of adapting the means of intervention to the geological context and the pollutants potentially present, as well as compliance with rules and procedures during the work, in order to obtain the most representative image possible of the environmental state of the site studied.
