Product change or discontinuation notifications are used by manufacturers to communicate this information to customers. However, the major part of these notifications has to be handled manually by reading, copying and pasting the data.

With smartPCN format, standardized and in the process of becoming an international standard, the digital processing of notifications is facilitated, allowing a fully digitized obsolescence management that saves costs, time and increases quality and data security.
