Is a waste inventory mandatory?

The waste inventory is not mandatory in itself. But it is becoming an indispensable tool for meeting the regulatory requirement of keeping a waste register and disposing of waste through appropriate channels.

What's the difference between recycling and reuse?

Recycling recovers materials contained in waste for use as raw materials in the manufacture of new products (e.g. recycling PET plastic bottles to make fleece or insulation material).

Reuse consists in directly reusing the waste for a similar purpose (e.g. reusing a wooden pallet after receiving a delivery, reusing a plastic crate for packaging parts to be delivered by truck, etc.).
