1. Understanding the scope of the reporting obligation
The principle is that the operator of a facility subject to authorization, registration or declaration is required to declare to the Classified Facilities Inspectorate, as soon as possible, any accidents or incidents occurring as a result of the operation of this facility, when this accident or incident is "likely to affect" the interests protected by the ICPE regulations. cf.
