8. Compare the results of your calculations with reference values

Once the calculation hypotheses have been specified and the calculations carried out, the results obtained must be compared with the regulatory reference values specifying the effect thresholds for hazardous phenomena that may occur in classified facilities (c f. arrêté du 29 septembre 2005 ).

It will then be possible to determine whether or not the risk is admissible, i.e. whether the thresholds for significant or lethal effects have been exceeded. If not, it is then imperative to revise the analysis by taking action, depending on the case, on :

  • the choice of products, with the aim of reducing...
