5. Mistakes to avoid

5.1 Never allow hazardous waste to leave your premises without a waste tracking slip.

This must be correctly completed (waste name, estimated quantity, number of packages).

Inaccuracies can be a source of environmental and human accidents (if mixtures produce toxic fumes, for example), as well as billing errors.
