1. What does environmental information mean?
The notion of environmental information covers two aspects: the definition itself, and its medium.
1.1 Definition of environmental information
Environmental information is broadly defined, in the form of a list (article L. 124-2 of Code de l’environnement ). This list covers a large number of information categories (data, decisions, factors, activities, analyses, economic assumptions, reports) and environmental fields (air, water, soil, energy, waste, radiation, noise, discharges, etc.).
