5.1 Do not locate your new classified facility subject to declaration on or near a Natura 2000 site.
You run the risk of being notified by the Prefect that your operation has a significant impact on a Natura 2000 site. Significant impact is assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account both the proposed installation and the protected species and habitats (e.g. significant impact of stormwater discharge from a sealed area on a wetland).
