2.1 Administrative liability

ICPE regulations, codified at Code de l’environnement , stipulate that your administrative responsibility as an ICPE operator may be called into question in three cases:

• The operation of the ICPE does not comply with the obligations imposed by ICPE regulations, such as the discharge thresholds set out in your prefectoral authorization order, for example.

• The ICPE is being operated without declaration or registration, or without the authorization required by law.
