2. Drawing conclusions

People who come to consult the file and only read the non-technical summary will mainly retain its conclusions. This is why everyone should be able to find answers to any questions they may have about the risks of being exposed to nuisances.

Example of conclusions: "This study shows that, thanks to the measures taken (distance from dwellings, treatment of wastewater and rainwater before discharge, choice of natural gas as fuel for combustion plants and soundproofing at source for noisy equipment), the impact of our planned activities will be acceptable for the environment and not significant for the neighborhood...".

In the case of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs and SMIs), or where the impacts envisaged are low and well controlled, we can limit ourselves to drawing up a general conclusion (of the type shown in the example above)....
