 INTRODUCTION

The impact study is part of the environmental assessment process to which a facility classified for environmental protection (ICPE) may be subject, either systematically or on a case-by-case basis (appendix to article R. 122-2 of the Environmental Code). This essential part of the file must take into account the project's environment as a whole.

A good knowledge of the initial state of the site is a prerequisite, but certain elements need to be determined.

  • What issues need to be addressed to properly assess the environmental impact of your project?

  • Is there a need to place greater emphasis on certain subjects?

  • How far does your scope of exploration extend to take into account all the significant interactions between your project and the environment?
