6. Communicate your Safety Management System

Your operating permit application must include a description of the SMS in the hazard analysis.

In addition, the operator must make available to the Classified Installations Inspectorate the results of analyses of incidents and accidents that have occurred at the facility, and must forward to the Prefect each year a summary note presenting the results of the Management's periodic assessment of compliance with the objectives of the PPAM and the effectiveness of the safety management system in place.
