3. Understand the main obligations associated with the registration system

The operator of a classified facility subject to registration may encounter a number of situations or events. In all cases, the operator must be in regulatory compliance. To do so, they must declare any change in activity, any incident or accident affecting the environment, the resumption of operations, or any definitive cessation of activity.

3.1 Comply with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
