5.1 Constitution of the PPRM file

PPRMs can only be prescribed :

• if the mine has been decommissioned, i.e. the operator has followed the procedure for transmission to the prefecture:

  • a declaration to stop work which may have been the subject of prescriptions to be implemented and whose proper execution has been sanctioned by the Prefect,

  • a work stoppage plan to assess the risks involved and implement measures to cancel, reduce or monitor any risks that may persist in the future;

• when the hazard identification study phase has been finalized; this phase is established by integrating the safety measures implemented by the operator...
