6. Mistakes to avoid

6.1 Do not obstruct the inspection of classified installations

AS plants are priority installations in DREAL inspection programs. As a result, inspections are more frequent than at other classified facilities. Inspectors are not obliged to obtain the operator's agreement to a visit. Obstructing inspectors in the performance of their duties is an offence punishable by one year's imprisonment and a €15,000 fine.
