4. What operating conditions must the operator comply with?
The operator may not start up the facility until the prefectoral authorization order has been issued. It is the operator's responsibility to commission and operate the classified facility in compliance with the technical specifications set out in the order.
The operator of a classified facility may encounter a number of situations or events. In all cases, the operator must be in compliance with the regulatory and technical compliance procedure presented below. To do so, they must declare any change in activity, any incident or accident affecting the environment, the resumption of operations, or any definitive cessation of activity.
