6. Frequently asked questions

Is it useful to have a lawyer present?

The presence of a lawyer is not necessarily required at the inspection stage.

In practice, the inspection will focus on technical aspects. The presence of a lawyer is therefore not essential at this stage, nor can you demand it.

Following the inspection visit, however, it may be useful to debrief with a lawyer, so as to establish a link between technical and legal requirements.
