3. Make documents and data available to the inspector

The situation will be approached differently in the context of an announced inspection or an unannounced inspection.

3.1 The inspector has announced his visit

Generally, the inspector will announce the theme(s) of his visit (for example, waste management in the company), and will ask you to prepare documents relating to this/these theme(s), to make the inspection more effective for everyone.

If this is not the case, you should ask them to specify the subject(s) they wish to discuss, and the documents they wish to consult on site.

The inspector may take away documents after drawing up a list countersigned by the operator. This list must specify the nature of the documents, their number and whether they are copies...
