1. Identify the generic content of the authorization request

The application for authorization to operate (DEA) must contain :

  • the identity of the individual or legal entity wishing to commission the system;

  • the precise location of the installation ;

  • the nature and volume of the planned activities and the relevant nomenclature headings;

  • the manufacturing processes that the applicant will implement to enable a proper assessment of any hazards or drawbacks presented by the facility;

  • the operator's technical and financial capabilities;

  • the administrative status of the plant concerned;

  • 1:25,000, 1:2,500 and 1:200 scale maps and plans;

  • an impact study ;
