On my site, I'm concerned by several headings, but only one is classified. Am I still obliged to take the necessary administrative steps, such as filing a declaration or authorization?

Yes, as soon as you exceed a threshold in the ICPE nomenclature, you become an installation classée pour la protection de l'environnement (classified facility for environmental protection), regardless of the number of headings involved.

My activities are classified under the declaration system, but only one heading exceeds the authorization threshold. Am I required to submit an authorization file? Can I just file a declaration?

If you have been granted a site permit, you become a site subject to authorization; you must therefore submit an application for authorization to operate.

My business is considered unclassified....
