 INTRODUCTION

Is your facility classified as an ICPE or not? The nomenclature –, the reference tool in this field –, will enable you to confirm one or other of these two hypotheses.

  • How is the nomenclature constructed?

  • How do I use it?

  • Are you concerned by the regulations governing facilities classified for environmental protection?

The ICPE nomenclature classifies installations, according to thresholds defined by decree, into different regimes:

  • Declaration (D), sometimes subject to periodic inspection (DC);

  • E registration system;

  • Authorization (A), sometimes accompanied by Servitudes (AS).
