2. Evaluate the effects of your installation

The assessment of the main current effects referred to in Article 1 ^er of Book V, Title 1 ^er of Code de l’environnement is commensurate with the size of the facilities concerned and with the foreseeable impact on the environment.

All effects will be analyzed, whether :

• direct (e.g. the visual impact of the coloring of a river caused by waste from a dye factory);

• indirect, such as forest dieback resulting from acid rain generated by sulfur products discharged by steel mills, heavy fuel oil boilers, etc. ;
