4. Our advice

4.1 Be vigilant when drawing up the PPRT for your facility

PPRTs are drawn up by government departments, in association with local authorities and the operator of the facility at the origin of the risk.

We recommend that you take an active part in the working groups throughout the planning process, so that you can follow the debates and directions defined during these discussions. At stake is the extent and relevance of the constraints that will be imposed on you: safety enhancement work, contribution to the acquisition of land affected by the risks.
