3. Conclusion

At the crossroads of food and environmental challenges and growing consumer demand for healthy products, agriculture is at a turning point. The effects of climate change, abiotic and biotic stresses, and the need to reduce the use of synthetic inputs have led to in-depth reflection on agricultural practices. Agroecology is emerging as a promising avenue for agriculture that respects the environment and biodiversity.

At the heart of this transformation, the rhizosphere - the interface between plants and soil - offers fertile ground for the production of fundamental knowledge at the service of innovation.
