5. Data to be provided when planning a concentration by evaporation project

Whatever the general organization of the project and the breakdown of services and equipment supplies, the customer must produce detailed technical specifications.

This document, which may be relatively brief at the pre-study level in the case of a new application, must include important information that will enable the supplier to make decisive choices in terms of the type of evaporator to be proposed, as well as the number of concentration stages and optimization of energy consumption.

The customer must precisely define the composition, including impurities (even very low levels), and the temperature at which the solution is available. It may be a good idea to indicate the process used to produce the solution, and the nature of the raw materials: this will enable an experienced supplier to ask questions about the composition, and request...
