ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition)

Alternating-flow chemical vapor deposition technique based on self-limiting surface reactions. It enables fine control of film thickness and composition, as well as the achievement of specific characteristics (uniformity, conformality).

Photovoltaic energy (Énergie photovoltaïque)

Photovoltaic solar energy is obtained by converting part of the sun's energy into electricity, using photovoltaic systems.

Surface passivation (Surface passivation)

A process that eliminates or reduces the electrical activity of the surface (i.e. avoids the capture of electrical charges). Passivation can be achieved by saturating unsatisfied bonds (dangling bonds) or by creating an electrically charged zone on the surface that repels charge carriers of the opposite...
