1.1 Project reconciling tourism activities and protection of marine ecosystems

The RECIF'LAB project is a demonstrator of the ecological and energy transition, a winner of ADEME's Programme d'investissement d'avenir (PIA), and aims to implement various development and management actions for coastal issues in the maritime territory of the town of Agde. The overall aim of batch 4 of the RECIF'LAB project is to submerge a reef village comprising a main artificial reef built using innovative construction methods and materials, with biomimetic aspects designed to recreate the characteristics of the richest local natural rocky and coralligenous zones.
