Assemblage membrane-électrode ; Membrane-electrode assembly

Electrochemical device architecture featuring a compact cathode/membrane/anode assembly that avoids liquid electrolyte circulation between electrodes (and therefore limits ohmic drop).

Bas-carbone; Low-carbon

An energy carrier (hydrogen, fuel, electricity, etc.) is qualified as "low-carbon" if it is derived from non-renewable resources and has an energy content that respects a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction threshold of 70% over its life cycle compared with a fossil reference (set at 94 g CO 2 eq/MJ).
