 INTRODUCTION

As the health risks of titanium dioxide and silver nanoparticles have not yet been conclusively established, studies on exposure vectors and intoxication mechanisms are needed to support industrial developments and provide consumers with the best possible information.

An emerging and promising technology, bio-printing belongs to the field of life engineering, while integrating the physical, chemical and mathematical sciences, as well as the principles and knowledge of biology and medicine: its aim is to manufacture living organs or tissues by additive manufacturing.

Dental implants are subject to corrosion, wear and tribocorrosion in the oral environment and during mastication. The development and application of appropriate coatings and surface treatments can optimize the implant's integration into the jaw and extend its service life.

The gradual removal of medicinal plants from the French pharmaceutical monopoly has opened up the possibility for professionals to market herbal food supplements. In order to guarantee consumer safety, French regulations have been expanded to establish the list of plants, other than mushrooms, authorized for use in food supplements, and the conditions governing their use.
