INTRODUCTION
The Élan law sets a target for reducing the energy consumption of buildings: -40% by 2030, -50% by 2040 and -60% by 2050 compared with 2010, or the achievement of a defined energy performance threshold for each building typology.
To date, all existing commercial buildings over 1,000 m2 are concerned. The obligation to reduce energy consumption applies to landlords and tenants alike.
To comply with the tertiary decree, it is necessary to :
register your buildings covered by this decree in the OPERAT database;
evaluate your reference consumption;
monitor your consumption;
initiate the energy-saving actions identified in your plan submitted to OPERAT.
