4. Securing Available Financial Assistance for Energy and Compliance Projects
The Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME) is the government’s primary agency for supporting the financing of sustainable energy investments.
The Heat Fund: essential for renewable heat production facilities (medium- and high-capacity biomass boilers, district heating networks, deep geothermal energy, and industrial solar thermal systems). Grants can cover up to 40–60% of eligible investment costs, calculated based on the metric ton of CO2 avoided compared to a benchmark fossil fuel solution.
