 INTRODUCTION

Recent regulatory developments in terms of traceability remind us that this concern, now widespread, is particularly strategic for the agri-food sector, and in particular the meat industry.

Various systems exist for tracking food products, from the simplest to the most complex. The greatest difficulty lies in choosing the most appropriate concept, which will actually enable the information system to be structured in the field.

After a brief presentation of the company and the history of its traceability system implementation, this article will list the main questions to ask in order to choose the right information system.
