Conclusion

All the technologies presented here are guiding us towards "end-to-end traceability", integrating all the players involved, from suppliers to customers, right through to end consumers. Indeed, many companies are concerned by traceability. But end-to-end traceability is a more complex issue: items must be correctly identified, and the various Supply Chain and industrial resources involved, so as to restore the full history of the traced product, and ensure that the product's historical links are maintained with a centralized global view...
